Redact sensitive data

Document workflows in production tools without leaking what shouldn't be public. Draw a box around any region of any screenshot — passwords, account numbers, customer names — and Workflow Replay will blur it. The same redaction rule re-applies every time you click Replay and the screenshots rehydrate.

Select the redact tool

Open the workflow in the editor. Click any step to open the screenshot. The redact tool sits in the step toolbar.

Draw a box

Drag a box across the region you want to blur. The box snaps to the screenshot's coordinate space, so every future Replay run blurs the same region — even if the surrounding layout has shifted.

Per-step rules

Redactions live per-step. A screenshot showing a payroll record can have a different rule than a screenshot showing a benefits enrollment form.

What we never capture

Keystrokes from password fields are never captured to begin with. The Manifest V3 extension respects the browser's input-type signal so secrets don't enter the workflow even before redaction.
